Jetty has had surgery and is home and going well. I have posted photos below of him in the horse hospital and will take some updated ones this weekend of him at home and with his staples out already.
He is coping so well with only one eye and should make a full recovery. Thank you to each and every person who donated money and bought raffle tickets to help with Jets surgery, you are all wonderful and thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Massive thanks to Pauline Gavin and the crew at Manly Road Horse Hospital for giving us such a wonderful price and for taking such awesome care of both Jet and Ella while they were in the hospital. xx
Based in south East Queensland with Sanctuaries on the Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and The Lockyer Valley, Save A Horse Australia Horse Rescue and Sanctuary was established by Amanda Vella to take in unwanted, neglected, abused and slaughter bound horses, rehabilitating them and finding them the perfect forever home.
